Palo Pinto Lake covers about 2,399 acres and is located In Palo Pinto County, 79 miles south west of Fort Worth 17 miles southwest of Mineral Wells, Texas and about 7.1 miles south of Palo Pinto, Texas. From Palo Pinto take FM 4 south to FM 3137. FM 3137 West to the lake. People may fish for largemouth bass, white bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish, and white crappie.
