Strawn ISD received a total of $1,247.50 from the Bake Sale at Greyhound Pac-a-Sac on Saturday! This will go toward new playground equipment for our students & the community! Thank you to all who donated and to the staff, parents, & community members who brought baked goods for us to sell! Everyone was so kind, and we are truly grateful for your support and generosity!

Mrs. Abbott's math students are experts on place value. They each were given a number and then wrote it in standard, expanded, and word form, as well as represented it with place value blocks!

Thursday, November 4th, is Retake Day! If you would like retakes, please return your portrait package by Wednesday.
We will also be photographing Volleyball Teams and JH & HS Football Photos on this date. At this time, the only photos we are accepting cash/checks for are Football. Next Thursday, November 4th, is retake day! Lifetouch will also be taking JH & HS Football photos and Volleyball team photos that we were unable to take in September.
Proofs from our Portrait session have been delayed but are in transit! We will send those home with students as soon as we receive them. Please contact Mrs. Ellis if you have any questions!
Did you know that Mrs. Cormack bakes cookies for each student's birthday and to celebrate the holidays as well? She does, and they are absolutely delicious too! Without a doubt, the best part of any holiday is a Cormack Cookie!
As National Principals Month comes to close, we want to recognize our wonderful principal, Mrs. Cormack, for going above and beyond for our students and always showing them kindness.
Just a Reminder: There will be no school on Friday, October 29, 2021! School will resume at regular time on Monday, November 1. Fall Festival will be at Greyhound Stadium on Saturday from 5 – 7 P.M.

As our school calendar has changed, so has our cafeteria menu. This Friday, October 22nd, we will serve the following:
Breakfast: French Toast Sticks
Lunch: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Baked Beans, Salad, Fruit, & Cookie
There will be no school on October 29th and therefore no cafeteria menu for that day.
