The Strawn Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Strawn ISD to award two outstanding students each six-week period. These students must have perfect attendance and show commitment with good grades. Teachers have submitted the names of a student from elementary and secondary who have demonstrated excellent Citizenship. Students who have best met these criteria are chosen from the lower grades (K-5) and upper grades (6-12). The Strawn Area Chamber, along with Strawn ISD, is proud to announce the four outstanding students for the fifth 6-week period (ending April 12th) and the sixth 6-week period (ending May 24th): Congratulations, Daisy Smith, Kathryn Holder, Silas Dawes and Kaison Nunez! All students had perfect attendance and excel in their classes. They were presented their awards by Chamber Board Member Tommy Lackey.
