Field Day will be May 25th! Please send your child with sunscreen, a change of clothes, and a water bottle! Strawn Booster Club has kindly volunteered to buy one sno-cone for each student PreK-12, and the cafeteria will be serving hot dogs!

These young readers completed their reading challenge & outread Mrs. Ellis! Each student read at least 15 chapter books between January and April to earn their own custom resin bookmark. Congratulations!

8th Grade had a fantastic field trip to Abilene PrimeTime!

The TF & JY Shao Foundation has generously approved our proposal & is fully funding the 2023-2024 Makerspace, Summer Library Program, & Battle of the Books! They also continue to sponsor our IXL and after-school tutorial programs. We are incredibly thankful for their support. Thank you, TF & JY Shao Foundation! More information on these programs will be released soon! Thank you, Mrs. Ellis, for putting this proposal together for our students.

Jessica plans to attend Weatherford College studying to become a Veterinarian Technician. Congratulations!
