Bi-District Championship

Happy Birthday, Perseverance!
To commemorate the one-year anniversary of Perseverance's landing on Mars, Mrs. Ellis threw a birthday party for the rover! Students were able to learn about the Mars rover's mission, check out books related to space exploration, and take a photo with "Percy"! Visit our Facebook page for more photos of this fun experience!

Today was the 100th Day of School! We celebrated by counting to 100 in many different ways.
PreK had 100-shaped pancakes & fingerpainted 100 gumballs! Kindergarten & First Grade decorated their shirts with 100 items! 2nd Grade counted by 100s and made necklaces with 100 beads.
Please visit our Facebook page for more photos.

High School Game Night Tomorrow!

Reminder: There will be no school Monday in observance of Presidents' Day.

Thank you, Strawn Area Chamber of Commerce, for treating our staff to a little chocolate today!

Tonight's Boys' Basketball game has been cancelled.

Third Grade students performed text feature surgeries last week in the operating room with their Chief of Surgery, Ms. Harris! Each patient had symptoms that our surgeons had to diagnose. Some of the text features they identified and prescribed were Headings, Captions, Maps, Photographs, Illustrations, Table of Contents, & more. Then they scrubbed up, flipped through magazines to find the needed text feature, began their operations, and completed their Post-Op Reports!
Please visit our Facebook page for more photos.
